First off, don't worry! I love helping self proclaimed "brown thumb" gardeners. We all start somewhere! Secondly, I like to start beginners with a simple plan using hardy, lower-maintenance plants, tailored to your taste and maintenance needs. So, that means I will work with you along the way and figure out what will suit you best. I will give you step-by-step instructions and creative ideas to help you build confidence. I offer personalized consultations and resources on soil prep, planting, and care to ensure a successful, maintainable garden. And if you run into issues and need a little more reassurance and assistance, I can be there to troubleshoot and cheer you on.

Well, we can talk about all of the care details and try to figure out where you might be going wrong... Sometimes it's a simple as having the wrong plant in the wrong lighting, over or under watering, forgetting to fertilize, and so on. Sometimes we are also just drawn to more dramatic plants... And sometimes, plants. just. die. No matter what we do. There could be any number of things at play. I can usually pinpoint what the problem is after asking a series of questions, so as long as you're honest and patient and trust the process, we can figure it out! Then, we can figure out how to learn and grow from there.

Well, after you submit a Contact Form we will start with a Free Initial Phone Consultation. This is so I can ask you questions about your needs, make sure I can properly serve you, and then prepare for our next steps. During this call, we will discuss budgets and rates. Then, should we both decide to move forward, we will schedule an On-Site visit to dive into the project. Right now, I will be working by the hour, with the first hour on a visit being a larger set price to cover mileage and travel time. Depending on your needs, multiple visits may be recommended. I can work with you from start to finish on a project or just give you the boost you need. It's up to you, your needs, and the budget you have in mind. Designs will also be charged by the hour. The larger the project, the more time it will take to properly complete. Other project specs can determine the time spent as well, not just area involved. I can give you a general estimate after seeing the area we are working with and hearing your specific needs/desires. Please know that I want to work with you and deliver a plan that you're happy with and that's in your budget. I'm happy to re-work plans as well, just know that each design takes time and careful consideration and any adjustments may add to the total.
